DAFINA KARADJOVA
Dafina Karadjova is a 3rd year Biology student and is currently the president of the Biology Course Union where she plans events to engage students around campus and within the Biology program. Dafina is excited to be a member on the Board of Directors, which would give her the chance to be part of a team of great leaders. She is excited to represent students in her Faculty, and more specifically in the Sciences.
If elected, Dafina will work to improve study space for Science students, as well as make sure student concerns are heard when programs are transitioned to the new Faculty of Science. KARL ISIDORE
Karl Isidore is a 3rd year Aerospace Engineering student who is running for the position of Faculty Director for the faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Science (FEAS). Karl has been a part of the Ryerson Orientation Team as the Orientation Crew Lead, helping in organizing and running Orientation for new students. Karl currently works as a Student Ambassador for Ryerson, promoting the campus for prospective students. Karl is also a part of various clubs and course unions such as the Ryerson Bicycle Club, and the Ryerson Anime Club. Karl is an enthusiast for student life, renewable energy and technology.
If elected Karl will work toward a study space for Faculty of engineering, and to promote student life in the FEAS. On Feb 6th, 7th, and 8th, Vote Students United. Vote Karl Isidore for Faculty Director for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & Science!
SYED MOHAMMAD MAHMOOD
Syed Mohammad Mahmood is a 2nd year Industrial engineering student who is running for re-elected as the Faculty Director for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Science. Mohammad is a regular volunteer for the various events and campaigns organized by the RSU. He is also a peer supporter for international students by providing them support in adjusting to university life in Canada.
If elected, Mohammad will work to address issues like increasing prayer space and improving study lounges. On Feb 6th, 7th, and 8th, Vote Students United. Vote Syed Mohammad Mahmood for Faculty Director for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & Science!
DURAND JARRETT-AMOR
Durand Jarrett-Amor is a 2nd year Electrical Engineering student who is running for the position of Faculty Director for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Science (FEAS). Durand is currently a Faculty Director for FEAS on RSU’s Board of Directors and is an active volunteer with RSU’s Educational Issues Committee and Equity Committee.
If elected, Durand would like to focus on some important policy changes related to academics specifically within the Engineering programs. On Feb 6th, 7th & 8th, Vote Students United. Vote Durand Jarrett-Amor for Faculty Director for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & Science!
Together, the Director candidates would like to improve many aspects within the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & Science. A few of these include:
Increased wireless access in the lower ground of the Engineering building
Work on making the Atrium a study space
Improve study space, including the Dungeon
Ensure research positions are a focus in work study reform
