ANDREW RANDALL

Andrew Randall is a 2nd year Social Work student who has been acclaimed to represent the Faculty of Community Services for the Ryerson Students’ Union.  Andrew has been actively involved in equity issues on campus, working towards more inclusive and positive spaces for marginalized students.  As the current RyePRIDE Coordinator, he co-organizes events that celebrate, honor and accept queer and trans students on campus. Andrew also campaigns around equal access to education for all students and participates in the continual fight for equal queer and trans rights.

NEDA HAMZAVI

Neda Hamzavi is a 3rd year nursing student and has been acclaimed to represent the Faculty of Community Services for the Ryerson Students’ Union. She has served one term on the board of directors for the RSU, working as the equity commissioner to facilitate meetings as well as participating in different campaigns such as the Drop Fees and Take it Over campaign. She is active in the Nursing Course Union as the administrative Officer. She helps to advocate for her fellow peers regarding educational and equity issues. She works part-time as a Student Ambassador and is the student representative for the Faculty of Community Services on Senate.

Neda feels that the student movement is one that has repeatedly been at the forefront of social change. She hopes to maintain and build off of the momentum that has been building on campus and help channel the fire and passion of the students’ to continue to do great things.

ARCHANA KATHIR

Archana Kathir is a 3rd year Early Childhood Education student and has been acclaimed to represent the Faculty of Community services on the board of the Ryerson Students’ Union. She is the third year rep in the Ryerson chapter of Council for Exceptional Children. She is also the Vice President of Education for Ryerson Tamil Student Association, where she is also active on the dance team.

CATALINA HERNANDEZ

Catalina Hernandez is a 3rd year Urban Planning student who has been acclaimed to represent the Faculty of Community Services for the Ryerson Students’ Union.  Catalina has worked for the Ryerson Students’ Union for the past 2 years and has helped organize and implement many of the large campaigns including Take it Over and Drop Fees. This year she is serving as the 3rd year rep on RAPS, the Ryerson Association of Ryerson Planners, and is excited to represent students in her program and faculty.
